I’m stood in my kitchen minding my own business making a cup of tea, I look up out of my window and see water pouring down, so I go to investigate and find that said water is pouring out from the overflow in my bathroom.
Water all over the floor as the toilet cistern had got jammed while it was re-filling, absolutely wonderful I thought, I wont repeat what I said, they are not words anyone’s mother would want to listen to.
Thankfully it was clean water.
Seems like most of the news channels are focusing on this story right now, according to BBC news Hussein did not want to be hung, instead he wanted a firing squad but he is indeed going to be strung up.
Give me the gun, I will gladly be the firing squad, him and a few others like him too, line them all up I will quite happily play tin can alley with them all.
OOPS!!!
I went offline for what was going to be half an hour to play Mario on my Game-Cube, that was at 8:30pm it is now midnight and I have just got off the cube, no wonder I have a mouth like the bottom of a bird cage and square eyes to match.
I know why I spent so long on there, its because I haven’t been on the cube for a long time, and I am not exaggerating that either, the last time I played on my Game-Cube my ex-wife was still my wife so we are talking like January time.
The advantage to not playing a game for such a long time is that you sort of forget where some of the things are that you have to collect etc. and so it makes things a little bit more of a challenge, not quite as much as it is when the game is new, but more than if you have played the game daily for the past three months. Trouble is now I have played on it for a while I have caught the bug again and will probably spend a load more of my spare time sat playing Mario, though tonight was not technically free time, I had some work I wanted to catch up on, but never mind I can do that tomorrow afternoon while the kids watch Madagascar on sky movies 
Oh and I need to find the remote for my VCR so I can adjust the clock, it’s an hour fast at the moment thanks to daylight savings time and I can’t for the life of me find the remote control, though I don’t really watch VCR’s much anyway so I will probably find the remote and then go and lose it again. Maybe I should just leave it as it is it will be one less clock to adjust when they go forward next year
Just have to say that I am really looking forward to Cyber Sunday tomorrow night, I have seen the past few Taboo Tuesday shows but this “new version” has me a little more interested, I think it is probably more to do with the quality of the matches rather than who is fighting who, but still it will hopefully be worth watching.
I live in a fairly decent average sized home near the centre of town, I have a fairly good selection of stores, supermarkets and takeaway food outlets near to me, I am on the main route into town so very easy for travelling, my house has some fairly modern and convenient additions and adaptations inside it and I am within around 10 – 15 minutes walk from the marina which can be a nice place to go in the summer plus there is a river and riverside park about 3 minutes walk from here.
That all sounds fairly nice, and when you add to that the fact that my house is mine and mine only it sounds a little bit better, even more so when you consider the fact that I am only 25 (26 in 26 days time).
Despite all of those advantages if you will of living where I do, there is one thing about this area that really annoys me, the fact that I live 2 minutes from the football stadium, and it is not the stadium noise or anything like that which is an annoyance it is the PIG IGNORANT football fans who, when walking to or from the match have no regard for anyone else but themselves and refuse to move their asses out of the way to make a little space for people walking on the pavement in the opposite direction regardless of the fact that some of them have parked their cars right in my street causing no end of congestion.
But today I managed to get a little satisfaction from these complete idiots, today there was a traffic warden in my street placing parking tickets on the windows of every single one of these football fans cars, I very much enjoyed watching him slap the £60.00 ignorance bills on these peoples cars, made my day! oh and for those fans that caught the bus into town for todays game, well all I can say is I hope you missed the bus home that you wanted.
I am starting to enjoy this blogging business, it gives me a place to air my frustration with the world 
Got another email from the windows live team announcing the beta of Windows Live Messenger 8.1
From the content of the email they kind of made it out to have a few extra features and to be this and that much better than version 8.0 and all these other reasons why I should upgrade so I go to the site, upgrade, and find out it isn’t really that much different to the previous version. Still I managed to waste 2 minutes downloading and installing it.
By the way I’m not suggesting that any of the Windows Live products are crap! they have chucked out some pretty cool apps over the past few months.
Just got an email from Nintendo, turns out they are releasing a new Zelda game, don’t know when this was made official so this may be slightly old news, but whatever it is cool news, I haven’t checked out the Nintendo Europe site yet to see if there is any more info on there about it, but that will give me something to do later huh! it’ll be great to get a hold of a new Zelda game, I have spent countless hours playing them previously and will probably do the same with this one if I get my hands on it.
Raj Patel on CrunchGear has compiled a top 10 list of the worst gaming handhelds.
Some of the consoles are certainly fit for that list just based on their looks alone, but personally I don’t agree with the order that some of them are ranked in, and I am a little stunned to see Sony’s PSP on there.
Well, I spent a little timeusing this software yesterday afternoon, and to be fair I don’t think I actually used it enough to be able to slate it or give it a raving review, so I am not going to do either.
What I will say is that this program is probably not for the home user or even the commercial user with a very small site or very limited requirements, simply because looking at it this software is feature packed and usually with features comes price tags so once the beta is over with I would not expect it to be cheap to buy.
There are a few things I can say initially I do like about this program, and a few that maybe I would change or get rid of, but as I said initially I don’t think I have explored enough of the features to go in depth – yet.

Just got the download for this last night, what do I think of it?
At the moment I don’t know because it is installing as I sit here blogging well, got to occupy myself with something while that little blue bar edges along.
I’ll have a play with this later on this morning and hopefully will give it raving reviews later on today. One thing that has kind of surprised me with this though is that so far there seems to be nothing on channel9 about this prog.
Maybe it isn’t quite good enough for them to feature it over there
